Mike and Denise’s has been a local favorite for years. This bar and grill is a household name throughout the Chicagoland area. Both their Aurora and Yorkville locations are serving up good eats and cold drinks. From pizza and burgers to sandwiches and salads, they pride themselves in making delicious food with fresh ingredients. Mike and Denise’s is the place to go to watch Chicago sports and enjoy a fully stocked bar.


Mike and Denise’s was in need of a Facebook presence that was on-brand and consistent for both locations. The restaurant needed a professional, customer service-oriented tone while interacting with customers on social media. The restaurants’ owners selected Pesola Media Group to be the voice behind their Facebook accounts. The goal was to organically grow their social media following publishing content relevant to their target consumers, all while driving traffic to their website. Mike and Denise’s required content that highlights their food and drink specials, love for sports, and commitment to their local customers.


Pesola Media Group developed a content calendar that incorporated food, fun, and Chicago sports. Facebook content is published on a daily basis in order to engage existing customers and organically reach new ones. The professionally-written content is a mix between menu specials, holiday features, events, and a variety of Chicago sports. Custom-made Facebook graphics have been designed to give the two locations a cohesive look as well as promote holiday specials, sports games, and promotions. A new, customer service strategy has been implemented to the Facebook plan in order to keep our tone both friendly and approachable.
